4. How long we keep data
Contact requests with no follow-up are deleted after 12 months. Data tied to legal duties (tax, mediation, AML) is kept for the statutory period. Chat records follow the same 12-month idle rule unless a longer legal duty applies.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We use processors who act on our instructions: website hosting and the first-party chat/measurement platform; email and productivity (Google Workspace). Some processors may handle data outside the EEA; in that case we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We may also disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.
6. Automated decisions
We do not take solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile you for advertising unless you consent to marketing cookies (none are active yet).
7. Children
This site is not directed at people under 18. If a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to office@huusportugal.com. We reply within one month, extendable as the law allows. You may complain to the CNPD, www.cnpd.pt.
9. Chat conversations
Chat is stored so we can answer you and keep continuity. The assistant does not make a binding offer and does not promise returns beyond published copy. You can ask us to erase a conversation.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure.
11. Cookies
Non-essential cookies run only with consent, which you can change from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Details: Cookie policy.
